Osseous

Treat advanced stages of gum disease.

When other treatments aren’t enough, osseous surgery can restore your health.

Gum disease can cause deep, problematic pockets around your teeth. Osseous surgery, also called pocket depth reduction, involves removing or recontouring damaged bone around the tooth to get rid of these pockets. This treatment also removes bacteria and tartar to stop the spread of gum disease.

Despite the name, osseous surgery isn’t overly invasive and can be done comfortably. Our periodontal team has years of experience and offers the most-trusted osseous surgery in safar’s

You may be a candidate for a pocket depth reduction if you:

  • Are suffering from advanced gum disease
  • Have a lot of tartar deposits in deep pockets
  • Are unable to get results from non-surgical treatments
  • Are suffering from jaw bone damage
